Founded in early 2017, the band immediately set their sights on music beyond the mainstream. Initially only cover songs, which were not played by all cover bands.
Influenced by blues and rock of various kinds, they quickly developed their own style. The musical style can be roughly categorized as rock, blues and alternative (crossover rock), which is reflected in the first self-written songs. From ballads to rockabilly to hard rock, everything is there that makes you want to come along, it's worth it.
The repertoire has now been expanded to over 20 self-written songs, which are performed in a powerful and authentic way.
A first album (Angry Nils & The Replacements - Once) was released in 2021, a new studio visit is already planned.
In the meantime, the band only plays their own songs, no covers, no mainstream, let yourself be surprised.
Angry Replacements (www.angry-replacements.com) are four stage-experienced musicians around frontman "Angry" Nils Werner (vocals and guitar). The "Replacements" are: Hilmar Holland (lead guitar, backing vocals), Sven Lühr (drums, backing vocals) and Jörg Scheid (bass, backing vocals).
